Climate
Plettenberg enjoys its own temperate micro-climate. The average daily temperature is between 22-30°C (72-86°F) during the summer months of November to February and between 15-20°C (59-68°F) during the winter months of May to September.
The Spring and Autumn months are normally quite temperate, the days are often sunny and can be in either of the summer or winter range of temperatures, the evenings are generally cool.
The area enjoys a year round rainfall pattern of 10-20mm per month with the most rain falling during the months of August and September. However, Plettenberg Bay does enjoy 300 days of sunshine per year.
